Two names, one car underneath
Toyota sells the Alphard and the Vellfire side by side as twin models. They share the same body, the same cabin layout and the same luggage space, so a passenger in the second row gets the same legroom and the same captain seat in either one.
What sets them apart is mostly the face. The Alphard wears a large, formal chrome grille; the Vellfire has a sportier, darker front end. Trim names and finishes also differ from one model year to the next, but none of that changes how much room you have or how the ride feels from the back seat.
What it means for your transfer
For a chauffeured airport transfer, hourly charter or point-to-point ride with NeoCharters, the two are interchangeable. You book the service rather than the model, and we assign an Alphard or a Vellfire. Either way you get:
Common questions
Is the Toyota Alphard bigger than the Vellfire?
No. The Alphard and Vellfire are twin models built on the same body, so the cabin, seating and luggage space are the same. The differences are mainly in exterior styling.
How many passengers fit in a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire?
In a NeoCharters Alphard or Vellfire, up to 6 passengers ride comfortably in leather captain seats.
How many suitcases fit in a Toyota Alphard?
Approximately 4 large suitcases (23 kg / 50 lb size) or 6 medium suitcases. The Vellfire takes the same. If you have more luggage, tell us when you book.
Can I choose between an Alphard and a Vellfire when I book?
Not on the standard booking: you book the service, and we assign an Alphard or a Vellfire, which are the same class of car. If you need a different vehicle, email hello@neocharters.com.sg and we will send you a quote.
